| Container terminals are one of the key development directions of China's coastal ports,the realization of automated container terminals is becoming increasingly easy under the background of the rapid development of 5G and the Internet of Things.And many automated terminals such as Xiamen Ocean Fully automated container terminals,Shanghai Ocean Port automation terminals,Shandong Qingdao automation terminals,etc.,are well-known with world-renowned automation container terminals,and some terminals even have the world's leading level of automation and are highly competitive.In this development trend,Tianjin Port also needs to speed up the automation construction process of terminals,especially container terminals.In 2015,Tianjin Port began construction of automated container terminals.In more than 4 years of development,the level of automation construction of Tianjin Port has been significant.It has entered the era of semi-automation,but there are still problems such as the low level of automation of operating equipment,the need to optimize operating procedures,the lack of maintenance of operating equipment,and the incompleteness of information systems.According to international development trends,full automation is imperative,and more and more automated terminals are put into use.Scholars at home and abroad have carried out research on the construction of automated terminals.How to upgrade Tianjin Port to a fully automated container terminal on the basis of the current semi-automated container terminal is the primary problem that it currently faces.In this context,it is first necessary to conduct a more in-depth study of the operational efficiency of the semi-automatic container terminal to ensure full automation.After the terminal is put into use,greater benefits can be achieved.This article focuses on the issues related to the operation efficiency of the semi-automated container terminal in Tianjin Port.The article is divided into five parts.The first is the introduction.It mainly introduces the research background and significance of this article.The literature is sorted and summarized.Finally,the research methods and ideas of this article are given,and the technical roadmap of this article is drawn.Second,the concepts and basic theories related to this article are introduced.The basic concepts include container terminals,semi-automated container terminals,terminal operations and efficiency.The relevant theories include production theory and production frontier theory.non-parametric and parametric evaluation methods for the evaluation of terminal operation efficiency are given.Third,an overview of Tianjin Port semi-automated terminals was introduced,which including Tianjin Port semi-automated terminals Construction and development history,terminal equipment and characteristics,business and processes,advantages of semi-automated terminals and existing problems.Fourth,the evaluation of the operation efficiency of the semi-automated terminal in Tianjin Port includes the evaluation index system,the DEA evaluation model modeling,and the operation efficiency Price and results was put forward.Finally the measures and suggestions for improving it Tianjin Port semi-automatic container terminal's efficiency are given,including promoting the automation of operating equipment,optimizing the terminal operation process,strengthening equipment maintenance,and creating an efficient information management system..The research in this paper has certain theoretical and practical significance.In the theoretical sense,a semi-automated terminal operation efficiency evaluation index system has been established,and the DEA model has been used to solve it.It provides a theoretical reference for the study of other similar problems.In practice,it can be used for Tianjin Port.Provide suggestions for improving the operational efficiency of semi-automated container terminals,thereby promoting their development from semi-automated terminals to automated terminals. |
