Corrugated carton as a green packaging material,corrugated boxes have the advantages of renewable,easy recycle,low cost and so on.With the rapid development of the logistics industry and international import and export trade,the use of corrugated boxes has increased year by year.Corrugated boxes as packaging materials,the protection of the contents has become more important,In order to adapt to the complex and changing transportation environment And play a protective role for the goods.the performance research of corrugated boxes has to correspond to the complicated environment.The climate difference between the north and south regions of China is large,and the long-distance and cross-regional transportation is becoming more and more popular.The temperature change and the humidity change are the main problems in the transportation process.Through the study found that the influence of environmental humidity on the performance of corrugated box is more significant.it is of practical significance to study the performance of corrugated carton through environmental humidity.In this paper,we selection single-layer corrugated box and a double-layer corrugated box as research materials,which has certain representativeness and extensiveness in the selection of test materials.Performance of corrugated box includes edge strength,bond strength,puncture strength,compressive strength,etc.In this paper,the compressive strength of corrugated carton is mainly object of study,focusing on the influence of environmental humidity on the compressive strength and compressive strength of corrugated boxes.Two methods,experimental research and finite element analysis,are used to discuss the problem.First,we measured the physical properties of two corrugated cardboards under different environmental humidity.including thickness,quantitative,ring pressure strength and elastic modulus.The influence of humidity on these properties was analyzed,and the parameters of corrugated box related materials were calculated.Lay the foundation for finite element analysis.Secondly,the effects of environmental humidity on the compressive strength of corrugated box and the edge strength of corrugated board were studied by experiments.Analysis and comparison of the changes in the performance of carton and cardboard under different humidity conditions.When the humidity is getting larger,the edge pressure strength of the corrugated cardboard is reduced,and the compressive strength of the corrugated box increases with the increase of the humidity compared with Initial lower humidity,and then decreases.Finally,based on the previous research,the finite element analysis model ANSYS was used to establish the finite element analysis model,and construct the simulation model ofcorrugated box.simulate a simulation experiment of compressive strength with different humidity,and the simulation results were output.Made a further research on the edge pressure strength of corrugated board.In this paper,the corrugated type and waveform of the cardboard are considered.The single corrugated board and the double corrugated board are respectively studied and studied,and similar results are obtained.The experimental results and finite element analysis results of this subject have certain guiding significance for the design and use of corrugated boxes under different environmental humidity.
