In the process of bridge construction,it is inevitable to build bridge piers in the waters.In the northeastern part of China,the temperature in winter can be as low as minus 50?,and the river will form a certain thickness of ice.Before the ice layer melts,when the outside temperature rises and falls,due to the principle of thermal expansion and contraction,the ice layer will exert static ice pressure on the pier,and the repeated compression of the pier will seriously damage the pier.Therefore,it is necessary to scientifically and reasonably calculate the magnitude of the ice pressure on the bridge pier and the variation of ice pressure with the external temperature,which lays a foundation for studying the frost damage of the pier.The specific research content of this paper is as follows:(1)Searching for ice literature at home and abroad to determine the material properties of ice.Check the hydrological data to introduce the law of ice formation in this river.(2)According to the Fourier heat conduction theory,the model of the temperature field calculated by the finite difference method is established and compared with the ANSYS calculation results.It reveals the influence of the external temperature change on the internal temperature of the ice layer.(3)Using ANSYS to establish the overall model of the pier and ice layer,the temperature field calculation results are taken as known conditions,and the ice stress field analysis is introduced by ANSYS to calculate the influence of ice temperature expansion on the pier.The different effects of parameters such as ice layer,ice thickness and temperature rise rate on the piers at different water levels wereinvestigated to find out the most unfavorable conditions.(4)Propose the prevention and control measures of the ice layer static ice pressure,in order to reduce the impact of freezing damage on the pier,and provide corresponding anti-freezing measures for the project.
