With the continuous development of China's aviation industry and the continuous maturity of the aircraft manufacturing industry,the application of aviation titanium alloy sheet metal parts on aircraft is more and more extensive.However,in the process of titanium alloy hot forming,the way of feeding and picking up parts is still very backward.Most domestic aviation manufacturing companies use traditional manual methods to work.This method is inefficient,workers work in poor environment,and it is easy to scratch and damage the parts,which seriously affects the manufacturing cycle of advanced aircraft.The development of China's aircraft manufacturing industry,therefore,it is imperative to develop a way to replace the traditional feeding process.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes a system based on six-axis manipulator for the pick-up and loading process of titanium alloy hot forming process.The system uses a six-axis manipulator combined with an end effector to control the movement with the positioning system assisted control system.The way of working,the spatial relative position of the manipulator,the end effector,the material table,the parts and the heating furnace and the spatial coordinates of each position are captured by the visual recognition device,and the shape and size of the different parts are controlled according to the captured space coordinates.The system writes a specific program,and the control system controls the manipulator and the end effector to perform the loading and unloading work,and the end effector is pneumatically driven to realize the automatic loading and unloading of the titanium alloy sheet metal parts at high temperature.jobs.And the end effector has certain versatility for the shape and size of different parts,and the same set of end effector are applied to the loading and unloading.This paper introduces in detail the selection of the manipulator and the design of the end effector,manipulator base,material table,etc.,and develops a set of procedures for applying the system to work,check the strength of the equipment,and apply the CATIA to the system.Modeling,applying DELMIA to the whole system for motion simulation and accessibility detection.The design scheme improves the working environment of the worker,can work stably in a high temperature environment,realizes mechanical automation,improves the production efficiency of the titanium alloy sheet metal,reduces the scrap rate of the parts,shortens the opening time of the furnace door,and reduces the heat.The heat loss of the forming machine reduces the production cost.
