Switchgear is mainly used for secondary distribution of power systems such as substations.How to monitor and manage more and more switchgear,and grasp the running state of switchgear in real time is of great significance for safe power supply and utilization.The development of Internet of Things(IoT)technology provides the possibility of real-time monitoring of switchgear.Based on the research and analysis of the status of the switchgear with incomplete monitoring status and low degree of automation,a switchgear online monitoring system based on the Internet of Things technology is designed.Firstly,analyze the key technical principles of the Internet of Things,analyze the application of the Internet of Things in the power system,and discusse the development trend of online monitoring of high voltage switchgear.Then the overall design of the switchgear on-line monitoring system based on the Internet of Things is proposed.The temperature acquisition unit,voltage acquisition unit,switch quantity acquisition unit and ultrasonic discharge detection unit were designed.The temperature acquisition unit is composed of a wireless digital sensor based on QT18B20.Multiple acquisition units constitute a wireless sensor network.Through the AD7606 analog-to-digital converter,analog signals such as voltage and current collected by the front-end measurement device are signal-conditioned.The 2.4 GHz wireless transmission technology and new sensors based on the Internet of Things is used to the state monitoring of the switchgear.Through real-time monitoring of equipment parameters and environmental status in the switchgear with various monitoring modules,and using the combination of wired and wireless transmissions to communicate,the online monitoring platform has achieved real-time online monitoring of the operating status.The main control chip of this system adopts STM32F103 series chip based on ARM Cortex-M3 kernel,which has the advantages of stable data transmission,high integration of functions,low cost and so on.It meets the real-time and reliable requirements of on-line monitoring of switchgear.Through the W5500 conversion chip,the master chip and upper computer communicate with Ethernet port,which improves the stability of data transmission.The upper computer adopts Siemens WinCC configuration software to design,and the entire system has a high degree of automation and stable monitoring function.It can reduce the operation faults of the switchgear,improve the monitoring level of the switchgear cabinet,and enhance the operation stability of the power transmission and distribution system to meet the requirements of the great significance for construction standards of the smart grid.
