| Public library buildings,as an important example of cultural architecture,actively promote the development of the city.In recent years,the public library business in Guangzhou has made great progress.The library area is constantly increasing,the collection volume is growing rapidly,and the service level is gradually increasing.Because of this,this is also a major direction in the design of library building renovation.As a building with a long service life,some public libraries have certain limitations due to the economic conditions and technical standards during construction,the single layout of building functions,and the aging of equipment,which cannot meet the needs of the development of public libraries today.Upgrading and upgrading will be a topic worth exploring.This paper mainly studies the public library building renovation design,discusses the public library building reconstruction method,and proposes the optimization strategy.First of all,this paper introduces the development orientation,cultural background and relevant theoretical research of public libraries in Guangzhou area where the project is located,and summarizes the purpose and significance of public library transformation.Secondly,through the analysis of the necessity of the design and renovation of public library buildings and the analysis of the problems existing in the Huangpu District Library(West District Pavilion),a specific optimization construction plan is proposed.The core of the article is the exploration of the feasibility study of the transformation of the Huangpu District Library(West District Pavilion),from the renovation of the facade,the integration of indoor functional space,structural reinforcement and equipment renewal,strategic research of building technology,construction demand and service leading The public library,which is in line with the public’s aesthetic,energy-saving and sustainable development,also provides a certain design reference for the future transformation of public library buildings. |
