The Renewal Research Of Traditional Neighbourhood Community Street Space Adaptable To Aging Group Application In Longjin Street Of Guangzhou

Since China entered the aging society in 1999,with continuously growing of the elder population and the aging situation has become increasingly severe.,the traditional old-age pension model could not be able to meet the current development needs.Our society begin to gradually seek the process of transforming to the community old-age pension model,and the background research of community aging will be gradually proceed.After retirement,the elders have more and more spare time,outdoor acitivities become their daily needs.As the most closely daily public place for the elderly,street space plays an essential role in the daily life of elder group..In terms of aging development in Guangzhou,the level of aging in the traditional old town areas is higher than the ordinary urban areas,and it is still increasing rapidly.However,the old town's transformation is lack of the attention to the elder group.The problems left from the process of the old town transformation are also affect the daily activities of the elderly.The traditional old community gradually are losing its attraction to the elder.Therefore,it is very important to renew and build the street space for the traditional old community.And this movement also will meet the needs of elders' activities,the sustainable construction of the old town and the construction of an aging-friendly city.Based on the methods of research,site visiting and statistical analysis,by choosing representative elderly groups as the research object,and conducting site visiting of three traditional neighborhood communities in Longjin Street,Liwan District,which has the highest density of the elderly population in the old urban area of Guangzhou,focusing on the renewal strategy of the traditional neighborhood community street space suitable for the elder group.First and foremost,through the documentation study,we understand the existing requirements and contents of the aging structures.Second,through questionnaires,interviews and observation,we investigate and analyze the daily travel activities,and also street space needs of the elders in the study area,then summarize the basic characteristics of the daily travel activities and street space needs of the elders.Meanwhile,combined with the current situation of street space structure and aging satisfaction evaluation,analyzed the current aging structure problems of traditional street community street space and its impact aspects,and deeply analyzed the causes of the problems.This will provide basic guidance for exploring and summarizing the aging renewal strategy of traditional neighborhood community street space in Guangzhou.Finally,according to the guidance of relevant theoretical research and test analysis,from the perspective of material environment renewal and social environment renewal,this article will put forward relevant strategies which guide the process of design,transformation and operation management for the aging and renewal of street space in traditional neighborhood communities in Guangzhou,.Through the renewal strategy,the living environment of elder group will be improved,the quality of elders' life will be improved,and the goal of building an active aging society will be achieved.While enriching the research of urban space aging structure,it will provide relevant reference significance for the sustainable development of Guangzhou old town renewal construction.
