| The Double Barrel Continuous Regeneration Mixer has become one of the main equipment for energy saving and emission reduction in the highway transportation construction industry.It has the characteristics of high production efficiency,high heat utilization rate,high RAP regeneration rate and low exhaust gas emission.The process flow,working performance,potential advantages and development prospects of this equipment have been discussed more in China,but the research on the structural parameters and motion parameters of its core components has rarely been reported.In this paper,the mixing characteristics of the mixture in the regenerative mixing chamber of the outer cylinder are studied,and the effects of different structural parameters and motion parameters on the uniformity of the regenerated asphalt mixture are analyzed.In this paper,the structure and working principle of the Double Barrel Continuous Regeneration Mixer are introduced.The effects of mixing chamber size and filling rate,blade size and installation angle,drum inclination and rotation speed,phase angle and number of mixing arms on the mixing uniformity and mixing efficiency are analyzed qualitatively.The J2000 drying cylinder is selected as the inner cylinder of the Double Barrel.Based on this,some parameters such as: the inner diameter of the outer cylinder,the installation angle of the blade,the critical speed of the drum,the phase angle and number of mixing arms are designed.The rationality of the similarity theory is verified by the EDEM software.And it is considered that the simulation model after similar scaling can still meet the analysis requirements.The simulation results show that the increase of the rotational speed and the reduction of the axial installation angle of the blade can reduce the dispersion coefficient of the three aggregates.When the feed rate is constant,increasing the phase angle alone may cause agitation delay of the mixture,thereby increasing the filling rate of the stirring chamber.In order to obtain better mixing uniformity,the value of the phase angle when the drum inclination angle is large should be smaller than the value of the phase angle when the drum inclination angle is small.When mixing large particles,it is not advisable to arrange a large phase angle.The mathematical model between the discrete coefficients of aggregates andvarious factors is established by using the Response Surface Methodology.The significant relationship between each single factor and its interaction on the discrete coefficient of aggregate is obtained,and the influence of interaction is analyzed.The matching of each parameter is optimized with the lowest dispersion coefficient as the target.The optimal parameter matching is: the radial installation angle of the blade is 38°,the axial installation angle of the blade is 35°,the drum inclination angle is 6°,the drum rotation speed is 10r/min and the phase angle between the stirring arms is 32°. |
