With the development of urbanization in China,the urban agglomeration has become the main form of urbanization in China,and the social and economic level has been continuously improved.The demand for travel within the urban agglomeration has increased rapidly,and higher requirements have been placed on the regional comprehensive transportation system.As a fast,comfortable and large-capacity transportation mode,the intercity railway has entered a stage of rapid development along with the development of urban agglomerations.The intercity railway is not only makes intercity traffic diversification,but also exacerbates competition in the intercity transport market.This paper takes the intercity railway fare level as the research object After analyzing the influencing factors of transportation mode and travel characteristics of intercity passengers,based on the generalized cost theory,the Logit model is used to analyze the intercity passenger travel mode selection and analyze the demand price elasticity of intercity railway.The intercity railway is a kind of quasi-public product and has public welfare attributes.In addition to considering its own benefits,its operation should also fully consider the interests of intercity passengers.The paper discussed the cost and benefit of intercity railway under the operation and management mode of “network separation”,and established a calculation method for the minimum transportation cost of Train operation plan under certain constraints.A double-objective model is established to study the fare level of the intercity railway which considers the benefits of the intercity railway operate company and passengers.The model provides a reference for determining the fare level of the intercity railway.An algorithm is designed to solve the model and the calculation process is realized by software Matlab programming.Finally,the fare level of Guangfo Jiangzhu intercity line is taken as an example.This paper analyzes the demand price elasticity of intercity line by calculating the passenger demand elasticity coefficient and passenger flow sharing rate under different fare levels.The income of Guangfojiangzhu line operating company and the general cost of intercity travel passengers are calculated under different fare levels.Calculated the fare level of the intercity railway under different targets.The results show that inter-city operators can attract more intercity railway passenger and reduce the general travel expenses of intercity travel passengers by adjusting the fare and giving up less benefit.
