Energy shortage and environmental pollution have become a global problem. With the sustained and rapid growth of national economy, energy problems to highlight the growing has been faced with many problems and challenges such as energy and the environment.The energy consumption of Transportation accouts for a high proportion of the whole society energy consumption. With the steady and rapid development of socio-economic and the accelerated process of urbanization, the demand for transportation has been sustainable growth, there is a rising trend that the proportion of transportation energy consumption of terminal energy consumption, from12.10percent in2002rose to13.5percent in2010. Urban agglomeration as the anchor of national economic development, It’s prosperity and development will lead to strong inter-city passenger traffic growth and exacerbate energy demand.Intercity rail transportation is a large capacity, high-speed and low-power mode of transport, that can ease the constraint relationship between traffic growth and energy shortages to the maximum extent. Thus, the development of intercity rail transportation is an important means to achieve a regional transport energy-saving target. In this thesis, Firstly, calculate the energy consumption of different levels of inter-city rail train, provide a reference for inter-city rail transport parameters selected; second, from the passenger flow composition point of view, study the fluence of the level of service to all modes of transportation passenger traffic sharing rate of intercity railway, and further study the impact of regional inter-city transportation energy consumption. The thesis research contents and results are as follows:(1) Reviewed the research about transportation and energy consumption. Under-standing about the transport ation energy consumption plan and policy, analysis on energy consumption impact factors, transportation energy consumption forecasts. Then, Reviewed the research about traction Energy Consumption Measuring. Conducted in-depth understanding of the train running energy consumption calculation methods and adaptability of the associated model.(2) From Intercity passenger demand characteristics, the technical features of the inter-city railway, trunk railway, highways, civil aviation relations points of view, Analysis the functional characteristics of the intercity rail transportation between cities in the region.(3) From intercity rail stations distance, speed, transport capacity and scale of the network points of view, analysis the adaptability of the inter-city railway between the cities in the region.(4) Using Calculation method based on the energy consumption curve simulation, to study the different levels of inter-city rail transit train running energy consumption. Through rational program design, did a quantitative analysis between the different train type, speed (target speed, technic speed), the distance between stop stations and train traction energy consumption.(5) Built a passenger Corridor passenger flow sharing Logit model. Combined with the Guangzhou-Zhuhai passenger corridor instance, did a quantitative analysis between the Guangzhou-Zhuhai intercity railway service levels (the economic, rapidity) and the Guangzhou-Zhuhai passenger corridor transportation energy consumption. out of town intercity rail transportation service level pricing proposals available to the relevant departments for reference. Put forword intercity railway Pricing proposals under the different service levels for relevant departments.
