Highway transportation is an important part of China's economic development.Among them,ordinary national highways can bring practical convenience to local residents.With the rapid development of road transport,the new road design concept emphasizes “peopleoriented” and pays more attention to comfort and harmony.The construction service area along the trunk line of ordinary national provinces has become an inevitable requirement for development.Through the on-the-spot investigation on the status quo of the operation and development of eight ordinary highway service areas in Fujian Province,it is found that it is necessary to strengthen the planning,location setting analysis and service area function research of the layout and location of ordinary highway service areas.A reasonable location must first determine a reasonable range of spacing.However,the traffic flow through different trunk roads is not the same,so the range of spacing settings is also different.By analyzing and analyzing the number of motor vehicles passing through a section of different roads in Fujian Province on a certain day,the road traffic volume is roughly divided into three levels.Refer to the distance setting of the expressway service area to theoretically analyze the influencing factors and setting principles of the distance setting of the ordinary highway service area.The influencing factors of the service area spacing are determined by the analytic software to determine the weight of each influencing factor.For the classified traffic level,the factors affecting each spacing of the specific distance of the ordinary road service area are scored by the expert scoring method,and all the results are scored.The weighted summary is performed,and the data is fitted and analyzed by the Guass function to obtain the range of the spacing setting.For trunk highways with different levels of traffic,the service area spacing ranges from 50 to 55 km,65 to 70 km,and 75 to 80 km.This paper analyzes the considerations for the location selection of the trunk road service areas in ordinary countries and provinces,proposes the location ideas of the service areas,and establishes a location model based on maximizing passenger flow in the service areas of ordinary national highways.Then,based on the field investigation of the national trunk highway service area in Fujian Province,the site selection model is used to verify the location distribution of the general national highway service area in Fujian Province,which proves the feasibility of the model.From the aspect of function analysis,the satisfaction of the passengers in the service area is investigated,and a comprehensive evaluation model of functional satisfaction is established.Functional positioning of the service area is broadly divided into functional positioning of consumer services,transportation services,and cultural and promotional services,and summarizes the development trends of the service areas.In response to the onthe-spot investigation of the general national highway service area in Fujian Province,suggestions were made for the functional configuration and functional positioning of several ordinary highway service areas in Fujian Province.
