| The grinding mill is a key equipment for mineral materials grinding.It has been widely used in various fields,such as building materials,chemical industry,metallurgy and power plants,and play a decisive role in these productions.However,the present ball mill working is usually low productivity and high energy-consumption due to the lack of the reliable load detection for intelligent grinding mill.Meanwhile,how to effectively monitor the load condition of the grinding mill,increase the production efficiency and reduce the production cost has always been a technical difficulty for the enterprises.Therefore,it is of great significance to develop a high-precision and intelligent grinding load testing equipment.In this paper,the advantages and disadvantages of the grinding mill load testing equipment and the current mill load detection methods are analyzed;by the basic principle and characteristics of the mill detection system,a device method for obtaining the mill load via analyzing the sound emitted by the mill is also proposed.Besieds,the TMS320F28335 chip is utilized as the processor to complete the development of the mill load system on the hardware platform.This subject,aimed at the inaccurate measurement of the detection equipment,uses the improved median filter and wavelet transform to perform mixed filtering so as to filter out impulse noise and Gaussian noise in the ground noise signal.At the same time,the least squares method is also employed to evaluate the material level of the mill,which effectively improves its measurement accuracy.In order to realize the human-computer interaction,the DSP and serial communication protocol,as well as visualized human-computer interaction interface are designed to output the result to the screen.Based on the actual application,TFT serial storage mode was used to save the software’s setting parameters,which can lead to the device restored to the last working state after the equipment is reconnected to power.The as-developed ball mill load detection equipment can facilitate operators to fully discriminate the internal load status in the mill,thus to determine whether the ball mill is working in the empty grinding or full grinding state,and to adjust the amount of material,which improves working efficiency and reduces power consumption.At present,the high-precision intelligent grinding and measuring instrument has been applied in many areas,such as Chongqing,Shandong,Sichuan,and Changzhou,which reduced the labor intensity of workers and factory production costs and brought a certain economic benefits to enterprises. |
