Curved plate forming is a very important step in the process of ship construction. With the development of the shipbuilding industry, the quality and efficiency of ship plate processing has become the bottleneck of restricting the efficiency of ship construction. At present, curved plate is processed in method of line heating whose heat source is provided by the burn of oxy and acetylene. This method has shortcomings such as the quality is not stable, low efficiency and severe pollution. As a new type of heat source, electromagnetic induction heating has more extensive application in industry.Electromagnetic induction heating heat has many advantages such high efficiency, easy to precisely control, environmental pollution-free,which can make up for the defect of line heating plate process. So research of the electromagnetic induction heating is of very important practical significance.Electromagnetic induction heating process of the steel plate is simulated by using ANAYA,which contains the following aspects.1?The basic principle of electromagnetic induction heating, including eddy current distribution characteristics, the basic equations of Maxwell.2?The solution of simulating the electromagnetic field and temperature field numerical method by using ANSYS.3?For a linear inductor, the main dimension parameters influencing heating effects are studies and the optimal proportion coefficient curve of single loop inductor, which is of high reference value to the selection of inductor size.4?Study the magnetic field intensity distribution in the direction of the plate length and thickness and the influence of current density, current frequency, spacing between the steel plate and inductor on the magnetic field strength.2D and 3D temperature field distributions are studied particularly.
