2D engineering drawing has been widely used in machinery industry,while the application of 3D modeling is extending gradually.Then,how to convert 3D model to 2D engineering drawing with intelligent annotation automatically and rapidly has become one of the mostly discussed issues in machinery industry today.As to shipbuilding industry,tens of thousands of stiffeners are used in a ship 3D model completed in the production design phase.When faced with such an enormous ship structure,converting all these stiffeners to 2D engineering drawings for production then becomes one of the most urgent problems for many shipyards.The significance would be profound if we can find a convenient and fast way to make all the ship stiffeners into 2D engineering drawings automatically with one click.The main research contents of this thesis are listed below:1.Investigate into the traditional drawing method of 2D engineer drawings.Then,analyze the implement situation of mechanical drawing generation technology and find out the defects of NX ship stiffener drawings during the drawing process.2.Research and analyze seven key points of ship stiffener drawings,including the drawing requirement.Come up with a complete solution for ship stiffener automatic drawing based on NX in order to resolve problems occurred in drawing stiffener contours with complicated detail features,classifying and managing drawing sheets.Realize the goal of “one click to draw” function.3.Design the automatic drawing process of NX ship stiffeners.Complete the development of ship stiffener automatic drawing based on NX,including the overall realization,stiffener contours realization and detail realization,so as to avoid redundant dimension and interferential dimension problems during the stiffeners annotation.4.Design the related test cases and analyze test result for the achieved function,using the methods of NX autotest technology and manual validation to verify the drawing result of the automatic drawing technology.
