As an important part of smart city construction,smart street light provide intelligent services for modern society through remote communication network and remote centralized management and control.As a new generation of low power wide area network communication technology,NB-IoT has the advantages of wide coverage,large connection and low cost.It can be applied to the remote communication of smart street light to promote the greening of urban lighting,management refinement and public service convenience.However,the communication rate of NB-IoT is low,which can not meet the application requirements of image transmission in the smart street light monitoring area.For this,the thesis designs a data transmission management method based on NB-IoT.At the same time,the communication gateway suitable for smart street light system is researched and designed for the heterogeneous networks access of the local communication network and the remote communication network to realize the conversion of communication protocols between heterogeneous networks and the forwarding of data between street light terminals and remote application servers.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)The background and significance of the subject research are introduced,and then the current research status of smart street light,wireless communication technology and IoT gateway are analyzed,and proposes a smart street light system architecture scheme based on NB-IoT.Through the analysis of the design requirements of smart street light gateway,a overall scheme and software hardware structure scheme of communication gateway supporting NB-IoT network application interface are designed.(2)Aiming at the problem that the communication protocol is not compatible and the data between street light terminal and remote application server cannot be interconnected because of the heterogeneous network access of the smart street light local micro-power wireless communication and the remote NB-IoT wireless communication,the uplink and downlink data communication protocol are customized in gateway to implement the conversion of communication protocols between heterogeneous networks and forwarding of the data between street light terminals and remote application servers.(3)Design a data transmission management method based on NB-IoT according to the smart street light data service attribute and the application requirements of street light monitoring image transmission.Firstly,according to the large-capacity data information of the image in the monitoring area of smart street light,variable amount of data fragmentation strategy is designed.And then,the transmission of small-capacity and large-capacity data information are relized through data splicing strategy,dynamic fragmentation strategy and time slice polling transmission control method.The test platform is constructed to test and analysis the hardware performance of gateway,NB-IoT communication function,gateway communication protocol conversion function and data transmission management method.The test results indicate that the gateway can complete the heterogeneous networks communication protocol conversion and data forwarding tasks in the smart street light system,and realize the purpose of transmitting monitoring images by using NB-IoT wireless,while effectively improving the success rate of large-capacity data information transmission,ensure the data transmission with high latency.
