With urbanization progress,urban issues have become prominent.Integrative and intensive development is an inevitable trend.Many cities are vigorously developing rail transit.Rail transit hub station and commercial complex mutual connection ease the traffic flow and traffic pressure,attract consumer traffic,increase business value,achieve integration of urban space.This paper adopts POE method to analyse four representative cohesion spaces in Shanghai center urban(Shanxi South Road station and iapm,Jing’an Temple station and Park Place,Xintian di station and SOHO Fuxing Plaza,Xujia hui station and the Grand Gateway).SPSS and Excel were used for quantitative and qualitative analysis,horizontal and vertical comparison study.Factors include traffic function,traffic flow,external space,internal space,construction,landscape and facilities.Four cohesion spaces have their own successful experiences and shortcomings.Basic principles are summarized as holism,humanity,interaction and sustainable development.This paper puts forward some suggestions for the optimizing cohesion space to creating a healthy and comfortable,high-quality cohesion space and urban public space environment.
