BIM is based on the relevant information data of the construction project as the basis of the model,the establishment of the building model,and the simulation of the real information of the building through digital information simulation.In recent years,with the development of building information,BIM gradually began.Become an emerging driving force for the development of the construction industry.By summarizing and analyzing the differences in project progress management level before and after the introduction of BIM technology,it is very important to point out the problems that arise after the introduction of BIM technology in project schedule management,and to provide relevant solutions.This research mainly uses the literature method,inductive method,qualitative analysis method and case study method to study the practice of BIM technology applied to engineering construction projects.This paper intends to adopt BIM technology,take the progress management process of QD school library project as the research object,research and analyze how to use BIM technology to control the progress of engineering projects,and establish a BIM-based information exchange platform.Through the Revit software and Project software,the 3D model and schedule are compiled and linked in Navisworks software,which realizes the comprehensive simulation and collision check of the engineering project,greatly improves the efficiency of schedule management,and then proposes a scientific and effective method.Improve the project schedule management level,thus promoting the progress management of the project construction project and improving the project work efficiency.Through the use of BIM technology,the research project case deeply verified the feasibility of combining BIM technology with schedule management,realized real-time sharing and barrier-free exchange of information,and eliminated hidden dangers caused by incorrect or slow information transmission.Let the manager make a real sense of the overall situation,all information can be viewed at any time.In the simulation of construction progress,the software can provide the results that traditional management methods can not provide.The results of these visualizations allow managers to no longer abstract the imagination but tovisually identify the problem,adjust and change in time,and reduce the workload.At the same time,it also guarantees the realization of the progress target.Using the simulation function of BIM technology to find problems in advance provides guarantee for all subsequent related work.Applying BIM technology in project management is not only fast and efficient,but also guarantees the completion of progress targets,and can also reduce risks and create a large number of economic benefits.
