Land resources are the important cornerstone of human survival and development. With the development of global economy, the population of cities is growing rapidly, and the scale of cities is expanding constantly. The contradiction between the expansion of production land, living land and ecological space land is becoming more and more fierce.Taking Shihezi City as an example, the evaluation of spatial and temporal differentiation of "production-living-ec--ological" in Oasis urban area is of great significance not only to the optimization of land allocation in Shihezi City, but also to the sustainable development of the Northern Slope Economic Zone of Tianshan Mountains. Therefore,Shihezi City is selected as the research object.By referring to the relevant research at home and abroad, this paper selected three remote sensing images in 2000,2010 and 2015.Using the image interpretation function of ENVI software and the mapping and analysis function of Arc GIS,the land use data of three years were obtained. The land use types were re-classified and the classified data sets of production, life and ecological space level and level II were divided.Through the in-depth analysis of the natural environment, social economy, distribution pattern and dynamic characteristics of "production-living-ecological" in Shihezi City, the "production-living-ecolo--gical" is evaluated, and relevant optimization suggestions are put forward. The results show that:(1)The distribution area of "production-living-ecological" in Shihezi City is production space > ecological space > living space. Its production-living-ecological function is mainly production space, followed by ecological space, and living space is the last.Because the southern part of Shihezi is mountainous and the eastern edge is Manas River, the ecological space of Shihezi City is mostly distributed here;the ecological space of rivers intersects with the production space of the eastern part of the city;the living space is distributed beside the roads of G312 National Highway and G30 Lianhuo Expressway with convenient traffic, and the production space and living space are interlaced with each other.(2)From 2000 to 2015,the area of production space in Shihezi City decreased gradually, but it was relatively stable;the area of living space increased gradually, and the range was larger;the area of ecological space land decreased by 90.78 hm2 in 2010 compared with 2000,and then increased by 26.11 hm2 in 2015.(3)The influence of policy and globalization factors on the layout of "producti--on-living-ecological" land in Shihezi city is deepened. In the 10 years from 2000 to 2010,with the entry of WTO and the implementation of the western development strategy, the production space of Shihezi City extended rapidly to the East and north, and occupied a large number of ecological space land. From 2010 to 2015,the report of the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly proposed the establishment of a beautiful ecological space,so the ecological spatial distribution area in 2015 rebounded from 2010.(4)In the three periods of 2000-2010,2010-2015 and 2000-2015,"production-living-ecologi--cal" land use has the characteristics of exchange with each other. The results and conclusions of this paper can be used for reference by later researchers and provide reference for related research. The data results are expected to provide limited theoretical basis for the construction of "production-living-ecological" civilization and sustainable development in Shihezi City, and provide suggestions for the rational allocation of land and resources. In the relevant analysis of the division of "production-living-ecological" and the setting of boundaries,we can strengthen the identification and trade-off of land use functions.
