Based on the tradition of Chinese cultural history, this research is a possible attempt to expand into the field of architecture.Through the discussion of the structural consciousness and visualization method of space creation in traditional Chinese landscape painting, and using this perspective,a way to transform the painting language into contemporary architectural design is carried out,and a design idea of the natural law is expected.Applying the spatial narrative style of the Ming and Qing landscape paintings to the contemporary landscape architecture space, transforming the materialization tendency of contemporary architecture, and re-implanting the poetry of the Chinese garden into the contemporary city, thus creating a livable environment and carrying forward the poetic geometry belonging to our native land. The landscape paintings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties inherit the spatial narrative style in Chinese traditional landscape paintings. In the layout of the paintings, the limitations of one viewpoint are often broken. The artist observes and depicts the different angles of the objects. The artistic image embodied by the artist is through the viewpoint movement of the painter for a period of time. When the process is completed, the viewer can clearly feel the characteristics of spatial time and rhythm. In the perspective of the landscape paintings in the Ming and QingDynasties, this paper "reads" the spatial narrative style in the paintings. The viewers take a long time to experience the various spatial patterns, and analyze and summarize the spatial patterns under different viewing modes. The purpose of this is to understand and refine the prototypes and structures of the landscape paintings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and to realize the transformation of the spatial consciousness of landscape paintings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in architectural creation. The transition from natural landscape to geometric space begins with the localization of the spatial type.Firstly, the common spatial types in the Ming and Qing landscape paintings are summarized as mountain rock, water bank, mountain woodland and mountain pavilion, and the spatial segmentation of the four types of paintings is given. Then, the type segment of the painting is converted to correspond to the type segment of the building. Finally, the local spatial types that complete the transformation are collaged and reorganized to create a logical and coherent dynamic architectural space, thus realizing the spatial consciousness of the Ming and Qing landscape paintings to the overall transformation of “Chinese space”.At this moment, the building plays the role of landscape painting. The architectural space is filled with the soul of the landscape painting. It is full of the action and body of the landscape.Even if it is not true mountain, the building can be said to be a landscape.
