With the increasing attention paid to infrastructure projects in recent years in China,domestic construction companies and design institutes have ushered in new market opportunities and are facing increasingly fierce competition.In the process of increasing the EPC project general contracting project,how to improve the market competitiveness of domestic enterprises is a key issue at present.The scientific management of the cost of general contracting projects can achieve effective control of project costs,and can increase the competitiveness of enterprises participating in bidding while increasing the profit margin of enterprises.It can be seen that the cost management research of EPC project is very important.This paper first introduces the concept of EPC general contracting mode,summarizes the definition,classification and its own characteristics of EPC general contracting,and then elaborates on the cost management method of EPC engineering general contracting project.The four methods of comprehensive cost management,milestone,target cost management and earned value method are used to analyze the current problems of cost management from three aspects: design,procurement and construction.Secondly,the current status of cost management is proposed.Build a cost management system that is compatible with the company's comprehensive strengths and projects.By decomposing the work content,establish a WBS structure,refine the scope of the project,further define the division of responsibilities in the organizational structure,establish a management system for responsibility costs,and transition from target cost to responsibility.Cost,improve the cost control process and assessment mechanism;then,combined with the construction characteristics and process flow of the highway engineering project,select the key points of the three stages of design,procurement and construction in the project implementation process for cost control analysis,including design Mainly considering design estimates,limits The analysis of the progress of the design and control,the procurement phase from the centralized procurement model,the management of the procurement of goods and the limit material analysis,the construction phase from the control of construction progress,sound design change process and the use of earned value management in three key points analysis,put forward corresponding Cost control measures.This paper selects the example of highway engineering for analysis,combines the background of the project and the current management problems,and uses the established responsibility cost management system to scientifically manage the implemented projects,focusing on the use of quota design in the design phase and the construction phase.And the earned value method has carried out effective cost control on the project,which has certain reference and reference for the future cost management of highway engineering EPC general contracting project.
