With the acceleration of urbanization in China,the number of gray patches is increasing day by day.The original rainwater storage capacity of cities has been seriously damaged,and urban waterlogging occurs frequently.Urban development is closely related to water resources.Urban development has a significant impact on the quantity and quality of water resources.Educational land in Colleges and universities is an important part of urban land use.It also faces the problem of how to coordinate campus construction and water resources utilization.Chengdu has abundant rainfall,and can collect more rainfall and rainwater harvesting areas.Rainwater utilization measures have been better applied in the construction of urban parks and urban blocks,but the construction of rainwater utilization in Chengdu university campus is still weak.Strengthening the utilization of rainwater on campus can not only promote the function of education in Colleges and universities and enhance the cooperation in interdisciplinary fields,but also play a certain role in improving waterlogging,purifying the water body and beautifying the campus environment.It is also of positive significance to popularize and popularize rainwater utilization measures on campus.This paper takes some colleges and universities in Chengdu as an example to study the campus landscape design of Chengdu based on rainwater utilization,and summarizes the technical system and development mode of rainwater utilization at home and abroad by using literature review method.Through the investigation and analysis of four types of rainwater collection areas(buildings,green spaces,water bodies,road squares)in Chengdu's colleges and universities,this paper clarifies the current situation of rainwater utilization on campus of colleges and universities.Based on the landscape strategy of rainwater utilization in Chengdu University campus,taking Jiuli Campus of Southwest Jiaotong University as the research object,the specific landscape approach to improve rainwater utilization in campus landscape design is put forward.The results are as follows:(1)By investigating the current situation of rainwater utilization in four types of campus rainwater harvesting areas in Chengdu,the significance of establishing rainwater utilization system in Colleges and universities is clarified.The main problems found in the survey include:less greening on the roof of the building,single drainage mode of the building;poor storage capacity of the campus green space and secondary pollution caused by the bareness of the green soil;artificial embankment for landscape water body,poor water quality;impervious pavement for road square pavement,poor permeability.At the same time,due to the neglect of daily maintenance and management,there are still some problems in the campus,such as poor drainage,pollutant accumulation,beauty decline and so on.(2)Through the analysis,the area ratio,runoff coefficient and seasonal reduction coefficient of each rainwater catchment area in the campus are obtained.Through calculation,the average annual rainwater catchment and utilization on the campus is about660576m~3 in Wangjiang Campus of Sichuan University;1512608m~3 in Qingshuihe Campus of University of Electronic Science and Technology;801331m~3 in Chengdu University of Technology;267004m~3 in Jiuli Campus of Southwest Jiaotong University;and 267004m~3 in Liulin Campus of Southwest University of Finance and Economics.595340m~3;Chengdu University:958973m3.Rainwater harvesting and utilization can meet about a quarter of the annual water consumption of schools.(3)The rainwater utilization landscape design strategy(STS)covering four types of campus rainwater catchment areas was constructed.STS is an organic combination of"source treatment-mid-end transmission-end collection".Based on the basic principles of ecology,economy,beauty and sustainability,it can improve the quality of campus landscape while constructing the rainwater utilization system.(4)Taking Jiuli Campus of Southwest Jiaotong University as an example,the campus is divided into different zones based on the rainwater harvesting area of the campus.Ten construction points in the campus are designed in detail by using STS landscape design strategy.The rainwater utilization system of rainwater infiltration,purification,storage and drainage in Jiuli Campus of Southwest Jiaotong University is constructed,which realizes the construction of rainwater utilization system and campus landscape's Cooperative development.
