Today,Elevator IOT technology has been developing together with the IOT prosperity.Traditional elevators,cables,terminal sensors and wireless network are no longer discrete individuals,and have been integrated into a networking infrastructure.Most currently prevailing elevator IOT solutions are built on their original elevator control system bases,by adding IOT gateway featured with various terminal devices,such as web-cams,human sensors,multi-media players,etc.Their main working methods are transmitting relevant elevator information to IOT gateway via CAN bus or RS485,encrypting this information together with sensor-collected data by gateway,then sending all the encryptions by wireless network to IOT servers and government data monitor platform.Needless to say,this kind of elevator IOT solutions has abruptly decreased malfunction rate and agreeably increased trouble-shooting rate.It has improved safety and comfortability in elevator riding,and changed the way of maintenance,meanwhile motionalized elevator management method.However,there still exist limitations to this “elevator control system + IOT gateway” framework,because it's utterly difficult to change for IOT control system in existent running elevators.Taking the elevator IOT technology development trend into consideration,we can see that IOT add-ups based on original systems are not promising for long-term development and expansion,due to the enlarged installment space and difficulty,as well as cost explosion.As to system stability,high information transmission error rate is incurred by serious signal noise interference and EMI in the scene of installment,the more devices involved,the worse interference inflicted.Therefore,a highly reliable,easy-to-implement,low-cost,simple-framed IOT terminal system turns out to be a must in pursuit of a more stable elevator control and IOT data transfer system.It will be a great help to build the ecological and economic society,by substituting manual work with information technology method.AIO-E1.0,the elevator IOT terminal our company is working on,is a comprehensive IOT solution package,which integrates control system,safety module,DDR3 DRAM storage module,4G wireless communication module,HDMI HIFI display portal,web-cams,sensor terminals and so on.AIO-E1.0 board transmits data through CAN Bus or RS485 to control device,location display,landing layer device,layer selection device,4G communication module,etc.The Communication among main engine,elevator car,elevator machine room extension,elevator car top and the bottom of elevator shaft,can be realized by the elevator telephone system.Comprehensive remote monitor and management can be realized by transmitting major part usage data and sensor terminal collected data to safety monitor platform by 4G communication technology.AIO-E1.0 will be an applauded new debut in the elevator IOT market,featured with low cost,high reliability,networking and intelligence.Our design requires high signal integrity,as a result of its core board running speed up to 1GHz,DDR3 storage module data transfer speed at 1600 MGbps,HDMI HIFI display circuit with 5Gbps band width,and AD,DA circuit.Tremendous difficulties were encountered during the design process,due to the bad electrical environment in elevator installment,EMI and signal noise interference.This article deep-dives into the elevator IOT hardware terminal design,covering electromagnetic compatibility(EMC),electromagnetic interference(EMI)and signal integrity,etc.,analyzes the natures how EMC is incurred theoretically,explores improvement methods by formula derivation and tests their fundamental effectiveness by experiments,so as to develop a stable elevator IOT terminal system.
