With the rapid development of wind power technologies,the wind power generation has become another important green renewable energy source except the nuclear power and solar energy.The wind energy is veryrich inWuyiling(WYL)in Yichun.Tobuild wind farms in this region is not onlyto protect the environment but also optimizes the energy structure,local forestry,ecological environmental protection,and environmental protection “green” power system construction.Based on the background of the wind farm project in Wuyiling,the comprehensive optimization designs of the electrical part in the wind farm are carried out in this paper byanalyzing the local wind resources in detail.Firstly,one year's measured wind resource data iscollectedin the region and WAsP,WindPRO2.7 and other programs are usedto process the data,the primary wind condition parameters,classification of the wind power density,and the data to evaluate wind energy resources are obtained.The reasonability and accuracy of the data are guaranteed by error analysis.Secondly,according to the designprinciple of electrical primary systems and total installed capacity in the wind farm,the type and capacity of wind turbines are determined by comparative analysis of differenttypes of wind turbines' equipmentand arrangement schemes,and the estimated annual generation of electricity generated on the grid.The voltage level and erection method of the collector circuit in the wind farm areselected,theprimary electrical wiring and the grid-connected system in the wind farm are optimized,and the primary electrical equipment in the wind farm is selected by calculation of the short-circuit current.The reactive power compensation schemein the wind farmis designed consideringthe reactive power regulation range,response speed and voltage regulation requirements in the grid-connected wind farm.Finally,according to the designprinciple of electrical secondary systems,the control and measurement signal systems inthe wind farm and booster station are optimized,the computer centralized monitoring,control of the wind turbine and the booster station has been realized.The relay protection of the collector circuit,transformer,booster station bus and interconnection line in the wind farm is designed,and various relay protection parameters have been set.Based on principles of the electrical design,the economics of the wind farm as the starting point,and under the premise of ensuring the safe,stable,and reliable operation of the equipment,the primary and secondary system electrical optimal design in the wind farm is presentedin this paper to improve the wind farm power generation benefits and satisfy the financial income requirements.
