Barrack,as the vital infrastructures of military readiness,production as well as training,is the significant section of China’s army construction;therefore,the energy saving design for its architecture can efficiently save the defense appropriations and better soldiers’ acceleration and life condition,which is of great importance to logistics reserve force and the combat capability.As the multiple-limitations of out-of-the-way location and cold climate for some grass-roots barracks,their energy-saving reform proves to be under-achieving relatively.For the energy-saving improvement of those barracks,some advanced energy-saving techniques for cold cities can be used for reference.With Chinese fast economic development,China is stepping into a new era called “Strong Army”.So cultivating first-class army,making new-epoch military logistics and building modern barracks have all become the targets of strengthening the arm in new era.It can lessen energy consumption and reflect humanistic care of China’s army to reform energy conservation for some out-of-the-way barracks,which conforms to be the keynote of military cultivation in new era.First and foremost,it can be achieved by investigating some out-of-the-way barracks,taking active part in building those barracks,communicating with project-design sectors of barrack architecture,listening to the advice from grass-roots officers and soldiers,grasping the current situations of those barracks.All of the problems lie in the following: From the aspect of energy application,the availability of traditional energy is low and the use of renewable energy is little.From the aspect of architecture design,it lacks of energy-saving standard of barrack architecture as well as the close combination of function and energy conservation,and there also exist the unreasonable weakness for the shape coefficient of some barracks and the setting of functional rooms.From the aspect of energy-saving techniques,it is mainly affected by geographic condition and building background as well as some of the high coefficient of heat transfer maintenance structures,which lead to the unreliable thermal performance;the systematic integration technique is also not enough.Then,by the assistance of BECS energy-saving counting software,the energy consumption of typical cold out-of-the-way grass-roots barracks can be counted,counting the energy-consuming level of this model and analyzing the influenced tend caused by different coefficients of maintenance structures for the energy consumption of barrack architecture.The major principles of the energy-saving reform for those barracks are as follows: First,rationally determine the technical plan for energy-saving renovation: second,pay attention to material durability and environmental protection;third,adapt to local conditions and increase the use of new energy technologies;fourth,ensure the military use and function of buildings.Lastly,according to the analytical comparison from simulation result of energy-consuming barracks influenced by energy-saving software and the principle of energy-saving reform for barracks,the strategies of energy-saving reform are put forward for those barracks: First of all,in terms of architecture design,the shape coefficient of barracks which are less than three floors should be controlled between 0.35 and 0.45.In the second place,from the aspect of energy-saving technology,the coefficient of heat transfer will decrease by 32% by using Low-E low transmittance insulating glass instead of the outer-window glass with energy-saving protective film,and the heat consumption for the architecture in the whole year decrease by 6%.The reading rooms and coat sheds are in need of enough sunshine,but the outer windows can adopt energy-saving protective films.Thirdly,based on the energy application,the old-fashioned supply heat equipment should also be upgraded or modified,and the heat pump heating and refrigeration from ground source and water source as well as those utilization technology of renewable resource according to environmental condition.All in all,this thesis may very well provide some references in the field of energy-saving reform and design for the military barracks in cold regions through the research of energy-saving principles and technical strategies for out-of-the-way grass-roots barracks in cold regions as well as expand the applied ways of thought for renewable energy in military barracks.
