Based on the national policy of"energy saving and emission reduction",the mobile communication industry started pilot study and large-scale commercial application of LiFePO4batteries from 2009.In the communication base station,the LiFePO4 batteries cannot simply replace the Valve-regulated lead acid batteries.According to the working characteristics of the LiFePO4 batteries,it should select suitable scenarios,optimize the parameter setting of switching power supply to cooperate with BMS to jointly manage the battery and understand the characteristics of its daily maintenance,so as to maximize the advantages of the lithium iron battery.We need to choose the right way to use it according to the investment.This thesis firstly describes the working principle,basic characteristics and performance of LiFePO4 batteries;Secondly,compares the advantages and disadvantages of LiFePO4 batteries and lead-acid batteries.On this basis,summarizes the usage pattern and the usage scenarios of LiFePO4 batteries,then demonstrates the wide application in communication base stations with practical cases.Thirdly,combines with practical application experience,analyzes and summarizes the existing problems of LiFePO4 batteries in current,then shows some suggestions.Finally,analyzes the development trend of LiFePO4 batteries in communication industry according to the characteristics of communication industry.The main purpose and significance of the thesis is to clarify the advantages and disadvantages through understanding the working characteristics of the LiFePO4 batteries.On the one hand,it solves the outstanding problems of Valve-regulated lead acid batteries such as environmental pollution,high and low temperature bottleneck,short practical life and so on,which are largely used in the communication industry.On the other hand,some convenience of the iron-lithium battery is more in line with the construction features of 4G/5G network-such as a large number of distributed stations,machine-room stations,etc.,and its promotion and use are positive for network security.The ultimate goal of the thesis is to figure out how to apply the LiFePO4 batteries to the mobile communication base statio.
