Comparative Study On Patent Competitiveness Of Jiangsu Shipbuilding Industry

Jiangsu shipbuilding industry accounts for more than one third of the country and is in the stage of transformation and upgrading.Technological innovation is the most important grasp in this stage.As the carrier of technological innovation,patents can effectively map the technological development degree of a regional shipbuilding industry.Therefore,it is necessary for Jiangsu shipbuilding industry to find the advantages and disadvantages of Jiangsu’s shipbuilding industry as a whole and cities’ patents by comparing the development trend of related patents in recent years and the competitiveness of patents among cities in the province,so as to enhance the ability of regional scientific and technological innovation.(1)Studying the development status of the ship industry patents in Jiangsu Province as a whole and in 13 cities simply.Bring up the necessity of comparing in the competitiveness of Jiangsu’s ship patents,through the unstable development of patent.According to the literature analysis and theory research about patent competitiveness,combined with the characteristics of time lag and quantity decay of ship patents,the Jiangsu ship patent competitiveness index system was constructed,which laid the foundation for the calculation of the patent competitiveness index model below.(2)Following the principle of objectivity,the applicability and real-time of various objective weighting methods are analyzed,and the contingency and error of their results are pointed out.Based on the principle of maximum deviation,the objective weighting combination model is constructed on the basis of the calculation of single objective weighting value by the methods of entropy,principal component analysis,CRITIC and variation coefficient,and the optimal solution is obtained by the linear combination method.Finally,the weights of indicators at all levels of patent competitiveness are determined.(3)Based on the index growth method,the comprehensive competitiveness of Jiangsu’s ship patents and the competitiveness index of each level of factors in the shipbuilding industry from 2013 to 2017 are calculated,and the patent competitiveness index of 13 cities in Jiangsu’s ship from 2013 to 2017 is calculated,and the comprehensive competitiveness and factors of the shipbuilding industry patents of 13 cities in Jiangsu are analyzed from horizontal ranking and vertical development.Selecting the top 7 cities in 2017 comprehensive competitiveness index according to the classification of the main bodies in the field of ships,and analysing the patent competitiveness of six cities with different main bodies.(4)According to the conclusion of comparative study,the paper puts forward suggestions on improving Jiangsu’s patent competitiveness in ship field from the aspects of basic competitiveness,patent value,patent innovation and outreach;Clarifying the shortcomings of 13 cities’ patents in ship field,and pointing out the Countermeasures for each city to enhance its patent competitiveness at the level of enterprises,government and talents.
