Study On The Design Of Greening Of Existing Building Roofs In Universities

In recent years,almost every city has undergone large-scale urban construction.The area of green space in the city has shrunk dramatically.The number of public squares is also decreasing.The increasing number of high-rise buildings has highlighted the importance of rational use of roof space.In order to improve the utilization rate of buildings and improve the original monotonous space mode,it is crucial to develop the "fifth facade" of the roof.However,compared with commercial,office,residential and other buildings,campus architecture is also a very important group in urban architecture,but the roof space of campus buildings has not received sufficient attention.As the material carrier of higher education and the important foundation of higher education,colleges and universities not only need to create a good material environment for students,but also provide a spiritual atmosphere conducive to students ’learning and exchange.With the vigorous development of higher education in China,the continuous expansion of the enrollment range,the shortage of campus land,and the shortage of teaching resources,students ’daily life and learning space are lacking.Therefore,the campus roof space is generally and reasonably used.It is very necessary and imperative to carry out the design of roof greening.This paper elaborates on the greening design of the roof of existing buildings in Colleges and universities.Firstly,the research background,research trends at home and abroad,research purposes and significance,definition of related concepts,research contents and research difficulties,innovation points,methods,paper framework and so on are elaborated,and the roof greening,including its origin,development,classification and significance,is discussed in detail.Then it analyses the present situation of the greening transformation of the roof of the existing buildings in Colleges and universities,puts forward the existing problems according to the investigation and analysis of the transformation cases,and then analyses the causes of the problems.On this basis,it puts forward the relevant strategies and methods of the greening transformation design of the existing buildings in Colleges and universities,and puts forward the design requirements,design principles and greening technology research of the greening transformation of the roof of campus buildings.It is a systematic and comprehensive exposition.Finally,through the example of the Institute of Sustainable Energy,the greening design of the roof of existing buildings in Colleges and universities is exemplified.
