The construction industry is a labor-intensive industry.Due to the characteristics of the industry and various market factors,the overall profit margin of the industry is low.Only by strengthening cost management and minimizing costs,building construction enterprises can survive and develop,and take the initiative in market competition.The potential to reduce costs by managing efficiency and strengthening construction cost control is a problem facing every construction company.This paper first analyzes the problems existing in current project cost management,and finds that the drawback of traditional project cost management is that it cannot know the difference in the process of cost formation,and cannot accurately intervene in the process of cost formation,which leads to the failure to take reasonable measures to control at the first time.cost.In order to change this situation,we need to continuously innovate cost management methods.Then,in this paper,a detailed and in-depth investigation is carried out on the above situations and problems,and the basic principles of traditional cost control are clarified,and a more comprehensive and detailed understanding of process control is carried out in combination with the theory of process control.This paper proposes the theory and method of cost management for construction projects based on process control.This paper proves that the integration of process control theory into engineering project cost management has certain practical value.This is the theoretical basis of this article.Then,this paper aims at cost control and builds a process control system.The system consists of three phases: the first phase is the project design phase,the process decomposition and process diagnosis of the project,and then the construction process plan design;the second phase is the program optimization phase,which applies the performance evaluation model to the construction.The process plan is optimized;the third stage is the introduction of the cost tracking control method during the construction process,and the factors affecting the cost are continuously improved and continuously corrected.Through the three stages of process decomposition,process description,process diagnosis,process design and improvement,process implementation,cost tracking control,to achieve effective control of project project cost.In order to verify the implementation effect of the optimized process plan,this paper determines a set of cost tracking control methods.The monthly cost analysis meeting is held,and the earned value analysis tool is used to grasp the cost deviation CV of the project,the progress deviation SV,the cost performance index CPI,the progress performance index SPI,analyze the causes of the cost deviation,and take corrective measures to realize the project.Effective control of process costs.Finally,the project cost control model was successfully applied in the engineering case,which verified the feasibility of the method.
