Switched reluctance motor(SRM)is a kind of rotating electromechanical energy conversion device,gradually used in household appliance industry,aerospace,transportation industry and other fields.Switched reluctance motor has the advantages of simple structure,good speed regulation performance,easy maintenance and low cost,which makes it highly superior in the application of low-power motor.Firstly,this paper introduces the research background and significance of switched reluctance motor,and briefly analyzes its basic structure,working principle,electromechanical energy conversion principle,basic equation and mathematical model.In this paper,the main dimensions of SRM are calculated according to the motor power output formula,and the other dimensions are calculated according to experience and motor structure.The calculation of the turns of each phase winding of the motor combines with the analysis of the magnetic circuit at the turn-off time of the phase winding.By establishing the magnetic circuit model of the position,the air gap permeability and core permeability of the motor are calculated in detail.The magnetization curve of the position is obtained by combining the computer software.The comparison with the results of finite element simulation shows that the magnetic circuit has high accuracy.At the same time,this paper establishes the finite element simulation model for the initial structure size and winding parameters of the motor,and the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the initial electromagnetic design.In this paper,the torque current ratio is taken as the optimization objective.The larger the optimization objective is,the greater the output of the motor will be,and the higher the efficiency of the motor will be.Some structural parameters and winding parameters are taken as optimization variables.Firstly,Taguchi method is used to optimize the motor design,and the optimization results of Taguchi method are analyzed.Because Taguchi method is only a local optimization method,and the switched reluctance motor is highly non-linear,it can not accurately determine the extent and scope of the impact of optimization variables on the optimization objectives,and the optimal scheme can be searched in the global uncertainty.Therefore,in this chapter,genetic algorithm(GA)is used to optimize the structure and performance of switched reluctance motor,and the scheme corresponding to the maximum of the optimization objective is selected for prototype development.At the end of the paper,the experimental analysis of the prototype is carried out,and the basic characteristics and operation characteristics of the prototype are tested.Among them,the basic characteristics of switched reluctance prototype include inductance characteristics,magnetization curve and static torque characteristics.The operation characteristics of the prototype are mainly tested under rated operating conditions,and the current waveform and output torque are compared with the finite element simulation results.The test results can verify the correctness of the finite element simulation.
