With the continuous growth of vehicle ownership,the continuous expansion of campus scale,the closer connection between campus and society,the number of mobile traffic in universities has risen rapidly,and the problem of static traffic on campus has become more and more prominent.It has become an important factor affecting the construction of humanities environment and sustainable development in universities.It has also become an important challenge for campus planning and managers.In countries with high levels of motorization abroad,the theoretical research and practical experience of universities in dealing with static traffic problems in campus are more mature than those in China,and have important reference significance for solving the current static traffic problems in Chinese universities.However,some of the current researches on static traffic in foreign universities are mostly summary and introduction of single static traffic or individual key points.They have not conducted a comprehensive and systematic study on the static transportation system of foreign universities.Therefore,based on the comprehensive research and analysis of the static traffic system of typical universities in the United States,Japan and Singapore,this paper systematically summarizes the overall characteristics and laws of the campus static traffic system design in foreign universities,and put forward the applicability reference for the current situation of static traffic in universities in China.This paper studies the static traffic system on foreign university campuses from three parts:The first part(Chapter 1)introduces the research background,related concepts and elaboration,the definition of research scope,research overview,research purpose and significance,research methods and research framework.The second part(Chapters 2 to 4)is the core chapter of this paper.It describes the static traffic system of foreign university campuses in three levels,including:The first level(chapter 2)is the basic research of the static traffic system of universities campuses.Firstly,based on the combing of the relevant traffic planning design concepts in modern times,this paper summarizes the theories and methods of the four stages of static traffic planning design in university campus.Secondly,it summarizes and analyzes the eight influencing factors of static traffic design on campus.The second level(Chapter 3)is the case study of the static traffic system of foreign universities.To the static traffic of nine typical colleges and universities in the United States,Japan,and Singapore,from the vertical perspective,the paper analyzes the planning and updating documents of each period of the campus,and presents the development of campus static traffic planning and design.From the horizontal analysis,it analyzes the design strategies of campus static traffic demand management,planning design and management strategy,and systematically presents its design logic and method.The third level(Chapter 4)is the general characteristics and laws of the static traffic system of foreign universities.Firstly,summarizes the research thinking and research methods of its scientific system.Secondly,summarize the design points and design strategies of static traffic demand management,static traffic planning design and static traffic management strategy.Finally,summarize and analyze the development trend of the static traffic system of foreign universities.The third part(Chapter 5)is based on the current situation and shortcomings of the static traffic system of universities in China,and puts forward the theoretical studies and practical experience of the campus static traffic system of foreign universities.
