Study On The Key Technology Of Modular Based On A Certain Platform

In the overseas,enterprises like Volkswagen & Nissan have adopted modularization platform development mode,they have achieved huge success in lowing development cost and development period.The domestic vehicle enterprises are just developing single vehicle models according to the market demands,although there are studies on vehicle platform and modularization,but during the vehicle development process,there are very limited vehicle enterprises would actually plan and implement platform development,especially modularization platform development.This topic used SGMW's vehicle platform(including Car,MPV and SUV)as example,used Volkswagen and Nissan's vehicle development modularization experience as reference,completed vehicle modularization design using vehicle parameters,hard spot packaging and platform component.The research content include three pedal modularization design and application;Macpherson front suspension modularization design and application;steering system modularization design and application;suspension system modularization design and application.Discussed each system's modularization strategy,component design,virtual analysis and bench test verification,the vehicle platform modularization scheme was verified through vehicle structure durability test and general durability test.The sharing of three pedal system,front suspension,steering system leads to the sharing of rear suspension and vehicle body,the component sharing rate if over 50% within the same platform,compare to the previous developed vehicle models,the development cost is lowered by 5%,vehicle development period is shorten by 3 months.
