At present,Chinese large transmission ratio reducer is mainly a multi-stage reducer,which has a large weight and volume.And at the same time,its contact ratio and bearing capacity are small.Therefore,how to realize the large transmission ratio,light weight,high contact ratio and high load capacity of the reducer is the main problem currently faced.The development of the face gear transmission system has made a breakthrough in this series of problems.Its contact ratio is higher than that of the general gear transmission.The quality is light and small.And it has good power splitting characteristics.At the same time,a new type of reducer that mimics the movement of coins is gradually entering everyone's field of vision.Due to the good transmission characteristics of the face gear,its application on the nutation reducer has broad prospects.At the same time,due to its own nature,the bevel gear can be replaced by a face gear.In this paper,the geometrical dimensions of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear are calculated in detail.The divided circle and the index surface are defined in detail,which lays a foundation for future dimension calculation.At the same time,the tooth profile of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear are compared and analyzed.And the variation law of the tooth profile is obtained.At the same time,the limit sizes of the addendum tip and the root undercut of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear are studied.The variation of the tooth width of the orthogonal face gear and the nonorthogonal face gear is analyzed.Three-dimensional modeling and preliminary assembly case analysis of orthogonal face gears and non-orthogonal face gears were carried out.The meshing transmission of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear is a small shaft angle transmission.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the correct meshing conditions.According to the differential geometry principle,the relative positional relationship between the origin and the axis of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear is derived.The addendum interference condition of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear is determined.And the tooth profile interference test process of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear meshing transmission process is proposed by numerical calculation method.When the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear are meshed and transmitted,the variation law of the pressure angle and the analysis method of the coincidence degree are analyzed.The meshing contact form of the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear is analyzed.The effect of mounting error on contact traces was investigated.Through the Hertz theory,the length of the contact ellipse and the contact stress when the orthogonal face gear is in contact with the non-orthogonal face gear are calculated.It was then verified with finite element software.According to the above research results,the orthogonal face gear and the non-orthogonal face gear nutation reducer are designed.According to the planetary gear train,the structural design of the orthogonal face gear and the nonorthogonal face gear nutation reducer is carried out.And the transmission ratio and motion form of the entire system was analyzed.Stress analysis and modal analysis were performed on key components.
