Pipe parts are an essential part of the car,and automotive pipe sets are tools for bending and forming automotive pipes.With the increase in the demand for automobile pipes,the traditional manual production method of manual moulds is gradually unable to meet the requirements.The power bending machine combined with the automatic mould production method can effectively solve this problem.At present,the design of the mould design relies on the designer,using the general CAD software,relying on the design experience to determine the bending sequence of the pipe and the assembly position of the mould.The disadvantages are long design cycle,low efficiency,cumbersome operation and repeated.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a dedicated automatic mould design system to realize the programmatic and process design of the mould design.This paper reviews the research status and development trend of CAD technology and mould design at home and abroad,analyzes the design process and design standards of Wuhan Bondi Company,based on customer needs,uses NX9.0 as the development platform,adopts C++ development language,and Visual Studio.In the 2012 development environment,the automotive pipe automated mould design system was developed using NXOpen C/C++ development technology and Block UI Styler development tools.The main work done in this paper includes:(1)Conduct automated mould needs analysis.In-depth research on the field of automated mould design,on-site automated mould bending process,analysis of automated mould design process and automated mould bending process.Communicate the requirements with Bondi and write an analysis manual for the design of automated mould design.(2)Build a software framework for automated mould design systems.According to the needs analysis,design the program,build the software framework,and decompose the functional modules.The functional modules include: system initialization,generating pipes,straightening pipes,generating bottom plates,assembling clamps,and assembling moulds.(3)Perform functional analysis and process analysis of each module.Including: function description,preconditions,input data,processing flow and UI design,and output data of each module.(4)Study the automatic assembly technology based on coordinate system coincidence positioning components.By calculating the coordinate system of the reference coordinate system in the assembly coordinate system in the assembly coordinate system,the positioning component is overlapped by two coordinate systems,and the component is added to automatically position the component to the specified position.According to the user-specified pipe clamping position and pipe bending sequence,according to the reverse push principle,the mould specific module is automatically assembled to find the specific assembly position of the mould with the least interference and the optimal position.(5)Complete the automotive tube automatic mould design system to realize the functions of each module.The developed automatic mould design system meets the design requirements of the cooperative company's mould design,and has been well applied in the actual automatic mould design,shortening the design period of the mould and improving the design efficiency of the mould.
