The application of BIM technology in highway design integrates the alignment,profile and cross section design in three-dimensional model.However,in highway design process,the BIM software still provides simple graphical interaction and added computing functions.In the course of highway route design,providing designers with more information and design rules support is the main purpose of this paper.Taking the profile design as the object,the paper studies the key technology and software development of the profile design process support model.The paper puts forward the highway profile design process support model.From the aspects of concept,location and application,the overall architecture of the model is proposed,and the overall design of the software system based on the architecture is carried out.Based on the Civil 3d platform and overall architecture of the design process support model,combined with the expansion and customization of the class library,the highway profile design rule inspection model was established.The real-time inspection function of design rule compliance was completed,which solved the problem of automated inspection on profile design.Based on the feasible region theory of profile design,a feasible region model of highway profile design rules was established.The paper builds a mathematical description of the feasible region.Based on the distribution and invocation technology of BIM entity non-spatial attributes,the added function of feasible region based on profile design rules is completed,and the feasible region support is provided for the users in design process,which improves the design efficiency.Aiming at the user's review of the profile design scheme,the highway profile information tracking model was established.The tracking function of the vehicle running speed information and the cross-sectional view information at any station of the profile is realized.The research results of this paper can provide information support including design rules in the design process.Improve the highway route design model in BIM environment.It has certain value for deepening the application of BIM in highway profile design process and has a positive effect on the further development of highway BIM.
