After the Industrial Revolution,the vigorous development of the construction industry has promoted the rapid development of our economy,but also put the energy crisis and environmental problems in front of people.Based on this,our country urgently needs to change the traditional architectural design mode and construct a new sustainable architectural energy-saving design mode.Under the wave of large-scale University Merger and expansion of new campus in 1990 s,the number of teaching buildings in Colleges and universities has developed rapidly.As the largest,most functional and most frequently used building in Colleges and universities,the attention paid to the comfort and energy saving of teaching buildings in Colleges and universities is obviously insufficient.Take Xi'an as an example,teaching buildings in Colleges and universities are illuminated and heated annually.It occupies a large amount of energy and has a great potential for energy saving.This paper takes the teaching buildings of colleges and universities in Xi'an as the research object.On the basis of the previous theoretical research,through the investigation and classification comparison of teaching buildings of many colleges and universities in Xi'an,the author intends to select the teaching buildings of colleges and universities in Xi'an from 1950 s to 1960 s,1980s and before 2005 to carry out the research.Through consulting materials,on-the-spot investigation and testing,computer modeling and so on.The simulation analysis of energy consumption is carried out,and the characteristics of energy-saving design of teaching buildings are summarized.After investigating the teaching buildings of universities in different periods,the representative buildings are selected,the building model is modeled by the Revit software of BIM platform,and the comprehensive analysis is made by using Eco-tect software from the aspects of plane partition,lighting,ventilation and sunshine of the teaching building.On the premise of not reducing the comfort of the building space,the suitable buildings are put forward pertinently.Energy-saving optimization design strategy.Finally,according to the characteristics of energy-saving design of university teaching buildings in Xi'an,this paper puts forward the energy-saving design strategy of university teaching buildings based on BIM technology,hoping to further promote the energy-savingdesign concept throughout the whole life cycle of buildings,guide the energy-saving design ideas,and promote the improvement of energy-saving design level of university teaching buildings in Xi'an.
