Water release gate is a very important hydraulic structure.Winter temperature is cold in China's frigid regions.After entering winter,the upper layer of water flow freezes into ice layer.At this time,the working environment of sluice gate is bad.According to the Code for Anti-freezing Design of Hydraulic Structures in China,the gate should not bear static ice pressure,and corresponding anti-icing and icebreaking measures should be adopted.But these two items will greatly increase the cost of operation and maintenance,and cause a certain burden to the operation and management work.If the gate has enough strength and stiffness,on the premise of ensuring safety,the measures of anti-icing and ice-breaking should be cancelled so that the gate can bear certain ice load directly,thus greatly reducing the cost of operation and maintenance,which is of great significance to the operation of the hub project.Firstly,the characteristics of ice and the causes of static ice pressure are analyzed,and the linear relationship between static ice pressure and temperature rise rate is found.Then the factors affecting the static ice pressure are studied,among which the rate of temperature rise has the greatest influence on the temperature distribution and static ice pressure.After determining the parameters of each influencing factor,the static ice pressure of three years was calculated,the maximum value was 0.118 MPa.Taking this value as the static ice pressure and acting on the gate together with the hydrostatic pressure,the structural static simulation calculation is carried out.The theoretical equivalent stress of the fourth strength of the main components of the gate,the main beam,the supporting arm and the longitudinal beam are 200.63 MPa,154.51 MPa,134.41 MPa and 138.54 MPa,respectively.The maximum shear stress is 110.93 MPa,88.61 MPa,77.4 MPa and 78.75 MPa,respectively.The maximum displacement of the main beam is 8.44 mm.Its structural state meets the requirements of strength and stiffness in the Code for Design of Steel Gates for Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects.Comparing the simulation results with the test data,the correlation coefficient is 0.86,which belongs to the moderate correlation,and the simulation analysis accords with the actual situation.Finally,in the case of known gate structure and environmental factors,this paper calculates and tests that the gate can directly withstand the static ice pressure of the ice layer,and can pass the whole winter without anti-icing and ice-breaking measures.
