With the development of science technology and the improvement of people's living standards,washing machines have gradually became one of the indispensable household appliances in the family.In recent years,the sales volume of washing machines has been increasing year by year,and the competition among products among manufacturers has become more and more fierce.Intelligent,environmental and cost-effective products are increasingly welcomed by consumers.As one of the core components in the washing machine,the driving motor has a great influence on the quality of the product.Facing the growth of the demand for drive motor of washing machine market and improving the requirements of its performance and cost,we will develop a new BLDCM(Brushless Direct Current Motor)platform which have competitive,energy-saving,low noise,low cost and high reliability,which replaces the original induction motor platform.That not only brings economic benefits to the company,but also advances the future development of the home appliance division.In this paper,combined with the actual application of the product,BLDCM that meets the driving characteristics of the drum washing machine is designed.Firstly,based on the main principle of BLDCM,the mathematical model of the motor is established.The preliminary design of the electromagnetic part of the motor was completed by the combination of magnetic field and circuit,and a low-cost ferrite hybrid rotor structure was proposed.Through the multi-domain simulation of JMAG and ANSYS software,the magnetic circuit characteristics,temperature field distribution and related electro-magnetic parameters of the motor are analyzed intuitively.Then the design and overall structure of the main structural parts of the motor are designed,and the three-dimensional model of each component of the motor is drawn by Solidworks.Strength check and mechanical simulation on key structural parts were performed.The problem of resonance of the motor under high-speed operation is studied and improved.The cogging torque of the motor is reduced by the rotor oblique pole and the stator opening auxiliary slot;use modal simulation combined with the transfer function analysis method analyzes the structural resonance band,optimizes the weak link of the motor structure,and improves the problem of high frequency electromagnetic noise to some extent.Finally,the optimized design scheme was combined with the actual production process to produce prototype,and tested the performance,NVH,temperature rise and reliability of the motor to verify the feasibility of the proposal.The cost and energy consumption were compared between induction motor,competitor motor and new BLDCM,which proved that new BLDCM platform achieved the original design goal.
