| The contradiction between the decreasing of the non-renewable resources and the increasing of the energy consumption of human's daily lives makes the requirements for the energy saving and the environmental protection become the mainstream of the development of the society. The washing machine, as one of the most important electrical appliances, is moving to the direction of multifunction, energy saving, and low noise as well. The roller washing machine directly drove with the permanent magnetic brushless DC motor (PMBLDCM) represents the developing direction of the washing machine.The technology of the roller washing machine directly drove with PMBDM was studied in this paper. The controlling system of this roller washing machine was designed based on the evaluation of the rotor position, single chip, and DSP technology.Firstly, the hardware and the software of the PMBLDCM controlling system have been designed based on the specific structure and load requirements of the roller washing machine. Some basic parameters optimization rules during the design process have been suggested. And the driving technology based on the rotor position was introduced.Based on the eccentricity of the roller washing machine, the mathematical model depending on the washing condition has been founded, and the loading character was simulated with Simulink. The results of the simulation demonstrate the influence of the loading eccentricity to the motor torque, and the experimental data based on the overseas samples show the validity of this simulation results.The frequency character of the DD roller machine was analyzed, and the relative controlling strategy has been established and realized via upper computer program writing.Finally, the test bed and the installation experiments for DD roller washing machine have been tested with PMBLDCM system. The results of the tests show that the DD roller washing machine with PMBLDLM system is superior and extensible.
