Abstract/Summary:
As the urbanization continues to accelerate in China, the proportion of residential energy consumption in urban building energy consumption is increasing.Winter city has the demand both for cooling and heating,so it is the focus of China’s energy conservation planning. However, the current quantitative research on the impact of residential area form on residential energy consumption is still in its infancy. Therefore,it is urgent to study how to use scientific methods to carry out energy conservation planning for residential areas in cold cities. This paper takes Harbin as the representative of the winter city and uses the sensitivity analysis method to study the influence of the residential area form in the cold city on the heating and cooling residential energy consumption.Based on this,it proposes the layout planning of the residential area in the cold city. The core contents of this paper include: Firstly, the researches on the sensitivity analysis of building energy consumption and the influence of residential area form on residential energy consumption are reviewed, and the related concepts of winter city and Relevant theories of sensitivity analysis on building energy consumption are summarized.Based on these, the analytical method of this study is determined.Secongdly,by classifying the form of residential in Harbin, four residential typologies, the pavilion, the L-shaped,the concave-shaped and the slab are obtained.Thirdly,as for the parameters of the residential form,we select four parameters for the study: building storey, building length, space interval and orientation. What’s more, the simulation range of these four morphological parameters was determined by consulting relevant regulations.Using the software of Openstudio and EnergyPlus,we form the ideal models of the four kinds of residential in which the four morphological parameters are combined and simulate the energy consumption of the model. Then, the data of the simulation is collected and processed through a sensitivity analysis method using the standardised regression coefficients(SRC)in order to figure out the relative influence of the examined parameters on energy consumption. The results indicate that the change of the four parameters has a significant impact on the cooling, heating and total energy consumption and building length is the most important morphological parameter, followed by building storey. And the space interval and orientation have little impact on the residential heating energy consumption in winter. Finally, based on the sensitivity analysis results, the proposals for the energy-saving planning of residential areas in winter cities is proposed from four perspectives: housing type, shape coefficient, space interval and orientation. This paper designs a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to study the impact of residential area morphology on residential energy consumption in winter cities. However, since this study uses the method of establishing an ideal model to study the influence of the morphological parameters of residential area on residential energy consumption, there are still many limitations of conclusions and suggestions. As a result,it still needs to be gradually improved in future research.
