The 21 st century is an important period for China to implement the strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and education".The contradiction between improving the demand for human settlements and the harsh climatic conditions of the cold regions brought about by the rapid development of college construction has become increasingly prominent.As the most important part of the teaching area,the outdoor environment of the teaching building group largely determines the quality of the campus design.How to create an appropriate outdoor activity environment for the teaching building group space and build a sustainable campus,thus promoting students’ comprehensive and healthy development has become a topic of common concern for campus designers.Therefore,this paper chooses cold colleges as the research object,through the annual outdoor physical environment monitoring and thermal comfort questionnaire survey,to clarify the regional heat perception evaluation of the cold college students,regional correction forecast indicators,and explore the cold colleges on this basis.The influence of the spatial form of the teaching building group on the outdoor thermal environment,in order to provide reference and guidance for the design of the college building group in the future.Firstly,the article expounds the basic concepts of college teaching buildings,and conducts research and analysis on 80 undergraduate colleges in cold regions.It summarizes the composition and spatial design elements of college buildings in cold regions.Then the paper summarizes the theoretical basis of outdoor thermal comfort research and explains the concepts involved in the paper.Then it analyzes the objective factors and subjective factors that affect the outdoor thermal comfort of the teaching buildings in cold universities,and provides the basis and theoretical basis for the research on the design strategy of the teaching buildings in cold universities.Taking the cold city of Harbin as an example,the thermal environment test and questionnaire survey were used to investigate the outdoor thermal comfort status and user needs of cold colleges,and to qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate the regional outdoor heat perception of cold college students.The quantitative index UTCI was evaluated and revised to obtain the UTCI evaluation scale for college students in cold regions.Finally,through the control variable simulation experiment on the typical model of college buildings in cold regions,this paper quantitatively studies the outdoor thermal comfort of college teaching buildings from three aspects: spatial scale,building orientation and architectural enclosure form,combined with typical models.Analyze and summarize the specific design strategy of the college building group based on outdoor thermal comfort.
