In today’s world,energy problem is one of the most important issues of humanity,building energy consumption is very large.Office buildings cause more prominent energy consumption problems,because of their large number and size.Lighting energy consumption accounts for a third of the overall office building consumption,make a better use of natural resources can effectively reduce lighting energy consumption,and improve the comfort of office environment.In the present study,targeted research on severe cold region open office building is few,and traditional daylight evaluation method is not comprehensive,lacking of quantitative analysis and targeted design strategies.The aim of this article is about finding the relationship between the design factors of open ffices with lighting performance in severe cold region.By combing and summarizing literatures and research results at home and abroad,analysing the situation in this field,elaborating the features of office buildings on severe cold region and the daylight influence factors.Surveying open office building in Harbin,which is the representation of severe cold region;the samples are divided into two categories: point-style and the plank-type.The data of survey is used as design parameters of two typical models and parameter ranges of factors which have great influence of daylight,including direction,scale(depth,width,clear height),window form(window wall ratio,aspect ratio,numbers of window).Then experimental design is carryed out to find the relationship between design factors and the daylight performance,by using the daylighting simulation and analysis software Diva for Rhino.The simulation data are sorted,analysised and used to establish regression equations which can quantitative relations,and find best parameter values or ranges of daylighting performance,put forward the corresponding strategies of architecture design which can be used in severe cold region.This article research results can provide certain reference significance for the study of severe cold region open offices’ design,these strategies can be used in similar forms of office building design effectively,and give a certain guidance and strategies,which can make up for the blanks of severe cold region daylighting design research.
