Research And Application Of Tourism Highway Landscape Planning And Design Under The Background Of Integration Of Tourism And Transportation

The construction of tourism highways has a large effect on the development of tourism and regional economy.As an important part of tourism highways,landscape has been continuously studied and improved.This is caused by the development of economy and society as time goes on.At present,tourist industry is developing rapidly with the construction of 'beautiful China' and 'a country with strong transportation network'.As a result,the innovation mode of integrated development'traffic + tourism'is created,this however places a greater demand on tourism highway and its landscape.The article firstly analyzes the current researches on tourism highways,summarizes the core concept and content of both traditional tourism highway and its landscape.Then it points out that traditional tourism highway only emphasizes on the functions of either passage or ecology.Therefore,the new concept under the background of integrated development'tourism and transportation ' isproposed,combining its characters with the concept of 'fast passage and slow travel'.The article also indicates that tourism highways are ecological corridors with landscape,environment protection,human history and other functions.The highway itself becomes a tourism product and even can be regard as a tourist attraction under the background of integrated development.Secondly,on the basis of summarizing the research progress of tourism highway landscape at home and abroad,the new components of the tourism highway landscape system are proposed under the background ofintegrated development?travel + transportation?.It indicates that tourism highway landscape includes not only all kinds of traditional tourism highway landscape elements,but also the landscape of surrounding tourist attractions where tourism highways can reach.And then,itputs forward main theoretical foundation in this situation.Then,this article underlines the cases studies about tourism highways at home and abroad,conducting field research under this topic especially in China,thereby proposing design guidelines to its landscape.Based on design processes,the article figures out the design contents and methodology under the background of integrated development?travel + transportation?.It contains the main body of highways,service facilities along the route,slow traffic system,structures,traffic & travel signs,et al.Finally,after the investigation of traffic conditions in Sichuan Tibetan areas and the analysis of tourism status data,the lack of tourism development in Sichuan Tibetan areas and the necessity of tourism highway landscape planning and design is figured out.Taking the landscape planning and design of 318 national road Kang-Ya section under the background of integration development 'traffic + tourism' as an example,the principles and methods of landscape planning and design for tourism highway under the background of 'traffic + tourism' are illustrated.
