In September 2018,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the Strategic Planning for Rural Revitalization(2018-2022)priority was placed on the development of rural education in the development of rural public services,emphasizing "the development of rural preschool education and the improvement of the county and rural preschool education public service network".It is pointed out in the Guideline for Kindergarten Education(trial): "Environment is a kind of important educational resource.We should effectively promote the development of young children by creating and utilizing the environment." Preschool education in rural areas has gradually received attention from all walks of life.Kindergarten physical space is an important educational environment resource and can effectively promote the development of young children.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the construction of rural kindergarten physical space,which lays a certain theoretical foundation for promoting the kindergarten environment forward.This paper based on literature review,the author chooses D kindergarten in southeastern Guizhou Province as a case study,by means on literature,observation and interview as research methods,with in-depth investigation into D kindergarten,enter the case kindergarten,carry out in-depth interviews and observations,collect raw materials and collate into preliminary written materials.And then collect the collected data,make preliminary classification and coding,in order to describe the reality of each spatial region of kindergarten,sort out the corresponding problems,and analyze the factors behind them.There are some problems in D kindergarten’s outdoor public space area,founding in the study,such as single playground space design and poor outdoor facilities,insufficient green area and unreasonable location,unreasonable location of water playing area and simple spatial structure.Secondly,there are some problems in the public space area of D kindergarten corridor,such as scattered corner space distribution,limited number of children,unreasonable location of botanical shelves and bookcases,and increasing security risks.Finally,there are some problems in D kindergarten’s class space area,such as poor adjustment of light and temperature in the activity room,inadequate use of space thinking in material placement,poor ventilation and water supply system in toilets,insufficient number of washing tables and urinals,poor adjustment of ventilation and temperature in bedrooms and insufficient utilization of bedroom space.In addition,this study analyzes the direct causes of the physical space construction of D kindergarten from the four dimensions of garden design,garden transformation,teacher application and child experience;and from the three dimensions of management,construction goals and teachers in the park,Analyze the indirect causes that affect the construction of physical space in D kindergarten.In order to construct D kindergarten physical space conducive to the growth of rural children,firstly,the competent authorities should rationally allocate resources and respect the main status of rural kindergartens;secondly,rural kindergartens should integrate their own resources and improve the process of building physical space in kindergartens;finally,rural kindergartens should enhance their professional strength and tap the educational value of physical space in kindergartens.
