Research On The Form Analysis And Protection Of Traditional Villages Under The Influence Of Clan Culture

Traditional villages are the living carriers of Chinese farming civilization and local culture,and there are countless profound and long-standing traditional cultures in their rural alleys.As one of the most basic cultural characteristics of traditional villages,clan's most prominent characteristic is the concentration of ethnic groups under the guidance of blood relationship,and the evolution and development of many traditional village spatial forms are deeply influenced by clan culture.In today's society,although many Chinese traditional cultures,including clan culture,are on the verge of extinction because they cannot adapt to the requirements of the development of the times,their extended traditional lifestyle,village order,customs and habits still have the value of protection and excavation.Therefore,to explore the role and influence of these traditional cultures in the process of village evolution and development has a very positive significance for traditional villages to show their unique cultural charm,achieve cultural revival.Houzhuang Village,Gaoping City,Shanxi Province,which was selected as the fourth batch of Chinese traditional villages,is a typical clan settlement.This article takes the Zhao's family,which occupies the dominant position in Houzhuang,as the starting point to explore the basic characteristics anddevelopment of the settlement form of Houzhuang Village under its influence,and tries to put forward some strategies and suggestions about the future inheritance and protection of Houzhuang Village.The structure of the paper mainly includes four parts:The first part is the basic research,including the first chapter and the second chapter.This part traces the research background,theoretical basis,research purpose and significance,research methods and research framework;it also explains the formation reasons and classification of Clan traditional villages,expounds the morphological characteristics of clan traditional villages in the process of formation and development,and lays a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.The second part is the main part of the article,including the third,fourth and fifth chapters.The third chapter analyzes the background of the traditional village form of Houzhuang Village,including its natural,historical and cultural environment.The fourth chapter is the historical study of the Zhao's family,and the history and prosperity of the Zhao's family,combs the inheritance context and the history of the rise and fall of the Zhao's family,sums up the far-reaching influence of Zhao's family on Houzhuang economy,culture and architectural form in encouraging Houzhuang villagers to do business,introduce Southern culture,develop education and promote the growth of trade street.The fifth chapter analyzes the spatial characteristics of the villages such as the texture of the streets,the public buildings and the courtyards of Houzhuang Village,This paper sums up the great influence of the Zhao's family on the formation and evolution of the spatial form of Houzhuang settlement in promoting the eastward extension of the Houzhuang Street network,the central position of the temple built by Zhao's ancestor Hall and Zhao's family in the overall form of the village public Building,the large number of Zhao's family and the unique styleof the residential Courtyard group to enhance Houzhuang popularity.The third part is the protection research,including chapter sixth.This part extracts Houzhuang has the values of complete village pattern,profound cultural heritage and far-reaching clan influence,and also faces the predicament of cultural gene fault,weakening of clan concept and extinction of ritual activities in the process of protection,and finally,puts forward the strategies and suggestions of promoting clan spirit,giving full play to clan function and reviving traditional culture.This paper studies the evolution and development of the settlement form of Houzhuang Village through the perspective of Clan culture,and hopes that the traditional clan villages represented by Houzhuang Village will be able to inherit the historical culture,continue the humanistic context,preserve the rural memory,cultivate cultural self-confidence and realize the rural rejuvenation in the future.
