| As a place for students’ daily life and study,campus is the place with which students are most closely connected.In the process of construction of university campus,its openness and publicity are increasing day by day,and the communication activities are becoming more and more frequent and showing the trend of diversification.Due to the lack of attention to users,there are many spaces in campus construction with low utilization ratio,inadequate design and poor landscape effect,these spaces are called negative space.Therefore,how to promote the utilization rate of campus landscape and increase the interaction is worth researching.Interactive landscape is a method to design with interaction principle as a medium.Interactive design is based on user’s demands,which occupies a position in the narrow sense of "product" design and also is paid attention to in landscape design because of its practical value.Moreover,its theoretical form,analogy in the study of campus negative space optimization design,is based on the needs of students in school as a reference to design,landscape is the main means of optimizing negative space.This paper focuses on the design of landscape space in colleges from the perspective of behavior pattern and space demand of campus space users.Based on the theory of environment behavior,landscape ecology,psychology and so on,this paper,combining theory and practice,analyzes the behavior characteristics and psychological needs of college students and probes into the necessity of eliminating negative space on campus.From the perspective of environment behavior,this paper classifies the types of campus negative space according to the degree of openness and the nature of use.First of all,the campus negative space is divided into three categories in this paper based on the spatial function and morphological characteristics:the space with unclear function,morphological negative space and clear and underutilized space.Secondly,according to the theory of communication and space,this paper classifies students’ daily activities into three types:necessity activities,spontaneous activities and social activities,and correspondingly divides the three activity areas into necessity activity area,spontaneous activity area and social activity area.Furthermore,this paper takes the category of intersection of spatial properties and active regions as the scope of study.Finally,this paper analyzes the characteristics of college students’ behavior and carries on an extended discussion to provide a more diversified choice of campus negative space optimization direction from function and emotion.This paper is divided into six chapters.In the first chapter,the author illustrates the origin,background and significan ce of this topic,and brief ly reviews the research status of camp us negative space at home and abroad,the penetration of interactive design in the field of environmental art,research method and framework.The second chapter defines the relevant concepts of this study and summarizes the theoretical basis.The third chapter,based on landscape Ecology theory,la ndscape in-Situ factor and environment behavior,this paper conducts a deeper research and understanding of negative space in colleges from the aspects of college students’ behavior,psychological characteristics and needs.The fourth chapter starts with the concept of interaction how to get introduced in the op timization of campus negative space,this paper conc ludes the application trend and application principle of interactive design in cam pus negative space from the point view of spatial layout,function and spirit and so on.Based on the prev ious chap ters,the fifth chap ter,taking a region of Guangxi Normal University as an example,proposes some systematic optimization prin ciples and strategies for negative space.The sixth chap ter is the summary of this topic and the prospect of the future. |
