As the country’s economy develops,infrastructure is built in large numbers.Among them,high-rise buildings,offshore oil platforms,wind power projects and other projects are increasingly using pile foundations.In these projects,the pile foundation is often subjected to horizontal loads.For example,the wind power pile foundation is subjected to wind loads,and the offshore oil platform is subjected to wave breaking loads.At this time,if the horizontal bearing capacity of the pile foundation is insufficient,it is easy to cause engineering accidents.Therefore,the research on the horizontal bearing characteristics of the pile foundation has extremely important significance.The pile foundation of heliostat in this paper is susceptible to wind load in Gobi beach,and the heliostat has stricter requirements for accuracy and stability,so the horizontal bearing characteristics of pile foundation are also very stringent.Especially the horizontal displacement of pile top and the horizontal rotation angle of pile top.Combined with practical engineering,the horizontal displacement and horizontal rotation angle of pile top of pile type I and II in sandy soil area are analyzed by single pile horizontal static load test.It is concluded that pile type I and pile type II meet the engineering requirements,but pile type I is more economical and reasonable.Using the"m"method and the measured values,the ratio coefficient m of the horizontal resistance coefficient of the foundation soil suitable for this area can be calculated in the range of 50-60(MN/m~4),which can make the design of pile foundation more in line with the actual situation.The ABAQUS finite element software is used to establish the model of in-situ test piles in this area.The influence of pile diameter,pile length,pile cap thickness,pile cap diameter,pile length-diameter ratio,pile cap straight-thickness ratio and pile cap shape on the horizontal bearing characteristics of short piles is analyzed by controlling variables.According to the actual load situation in this area,the simulation provides a reference for the design of heliostat pile foundation in this area.The main conclusion is that when the diameter or length of pile is within a certain range,the horizontal displacement of pile top under the same load is not different from the increase of the horizontal rotation angle of pile top when the diameter or length of pile decreases the same diameter or length of pile decreases the same length,but beyond a certain range,the same length or pile is reduced.Under the same load,the horizontal displacement of pile top and the horizontal rotation angle of pile top increase greatly.The change of pile cap diameter has more influence on the horizontal displacement of pile top than on the horizontal rotation angle of pile top.When the pile volume or the cap volume is fixed,the ratio of length to diameter or the ratio of vertical thickness of the cap takes a certain value,the horizontal displacement of the top of the pile or the horizontal rotation angle of the top of the pile can be minimized.The horizontal bearing capacity of square pile cap is better than that of circular pile cap.In this paper,the four factors of pile diameter,pile length,pile cap thickness and pile cap diameter are combined by orthogonal design assistant,and combined with the conclusion in section 5.2.7 of Chapter 5,the circular cap is changed into square cap for numerical simulation.It is concluded that scheme 3-1 meets the design requirements and saves more materials and funds than the original design scheme.
