In recent years,private automotive market demand continued to expand as people's living standards constantly improving.Faced with the market growing,major OEM's expansion plans were put on the agenda.However,behind this rapid expansion development mode,the auto industry labor costs and operation costs have been continuously rising.Therefore,TY Motors factories faced assessment objectives as lowering labor costs every year.In the case of capacity and production time not changing,the labor cost was mainly reflected in the number of work stations.According to experience,production process determined the investment of human and material resources,lean production process was closely related to organization efficiency and impacted on the number of work stations.Through qualitative and quantitative analysis of lean production process,it had very important significance of improving organization efficiency and reducing the number of work stations.The objective of the research was the JQ plant GA shop new product process planning project.The research was based on the knowledge related to project quality management.Improving organization efficiency and reducing cost were set as the project quality target.HPV was developed as the project characteristic indicator.Project quality design was based on cutting down the number of work stations.The formula of calculating the number of work stations was the way to enter.Process characteristic indicators such as BEC%,MPU% and working pace were developed.Project process design was based on eliminating waste and reducing non-value-added work.Lean manufacturing tools such as waste identification,VSM and line balance were set as the input of project process control.Throughout the research process,based on the analysis of different production mode of GA shop,benchmark values of process characteristic indicators were captured by different patterns of production mode,which became the important references for setting number of work stations.In the case of JQ plant GA shop new product process planning project,benchmark values were set as the target of process characteristic indicators.In practice,for the actual index which were close to the benchmark value,the actual number of work stations were very close to the result of the formula,which meant that this research had practical significance.Meanwhile,several issues affecting lean production of lean were identified and summarized,and qualitative and quantitative analysis was done to provides process quality control standards and promote achieving project quality target.
