Study On Process Improvement Of Project Management In Equipment Purchasing Of Customer Engineering In Electrical Construction Enterprise

With the progress of national reformation of electrical power system in structure transformation and industry upgrade,the economic system in electrical market is being perfected.More qualified electrical construction enterprises are grabbing market share.Electrical construction enterprises have to maintain high-speed development while facing complex external environment and severe competition.Under such circumstance,equipment purchasing which consumes 60%-70% of operation cost is being valued more than ever.How to improve purchasing procedure has become a key factor for market competitiveness.On the other hand,with the IT development,combining purchasing and IT will create better mode for enterprises.This thesis focuses on equipment purchasing of customer engineering in an electrical construction enterprise.The construction enterprise is founded during the electrical reformation in 2002 which has much experience as contractor in 220 kV power station and transmission line.It needs to improve market competitiveness by using modern information technology when facing severe competition.This thesis does some surveys and analyzes the current situation.Herring–bone method and ASME method are used in locating problems.Concerning the industrial characteristics and theory in purchasing management,project management and business process reengineering,the problems in supplier management and procedure of purchasing contract are being dissected.Then corresponding improvement plan by ESIA systematize reengineering method and Flow Chart method is brought up.The plan is carried out after combining with ERP and contract information system.Lastly the demonstration of new procedure shows the difference it made in the enterprise.The thesis aims on improvement of equipment purchasing in customer engineering,in order to raise market competitiveness for the enterprise.It analyzes many problems in equipment purchasing in detail and starts from internal management and targets the clients.Some improvement plans and advices are brought up by scientific method and makes a difference which will also provide reference for other electrical construction enterprises in purchasing procedure.
