As the world's largest energy consumer,China has the world's largest construction market.With the development of power informatization and smart grid,the number of data centers has grown rapidly.However,the energy consumption problem has become more and more serious.Therefore,building a green data center has become an important task for power companies.BIM(Building Information Modeling),which is a building information model,is a multi-dimensional model information integration technology.It's developed on the basis of the original CAD technology.It can appear in all participants of the building(including proprietor,designer,construction,management,users,etc.).It can operate the model in the information and information in the model,so as to realize the application of the whole life cycle of the building.This paper summarizes the current theory and methods of energy consumption analysis in data centers and introduces the concept,technical characteristics,modeling advantages and application status of BIM technology.Then,this study analyzes the application of BIM technology in the life cycle of the data center and energy consumption component in the data center.At last,it proposes how to combine the BIM technology modeling software with the energy consumption analysis software.At the same time,through the comparison of traditional energy consumption methods and BIM-based energy consumption methods,this study makes original contributions to the decision making on energy consumption from both theoretical and practical perspectives.Based on the above theoretical research,this paper combines the example of China Southern Power Grid project to verify the feasibility of the energy consumption analysis method based on BIM technology.The article uses the data center building as the research object,firstly it uses Revit software to build the building information model,and concentrates the geometric and physical information of the building in one platform.Secondly,this paper makes spatial partitions for each floor and then exports the analysis model through data conversion.And then the analysis model is imported into the energy analysis software.After the relevant parameters are set for the model,this paper can get different reports.Through the analysis of this report,it can help designers to more accurate energy simulation and optimization design,and further introduce energy analysis methods in the preliminary design stage,thereby reducing the overall energy consumption of the data center at the source and reducing the rework rate of the project.At the same time,this method can further promote the wider application of BIM technology in power enterprise engineering projects.
