Study Of Structure And Tectonics Of Traditional Stone Houses In Jiaozuo Mountain Area

In recent years,more and more attention has been paid onto the protection of traditional dwellings,and the research on traditional dwellings in China has been increasing gradually which also achieved fruitful results.However,most of these studies are focused on the architectural form,layout characteristics and architectural culture of residential buildings,and the research on traditional construction technology of traditional dwellings is relatively few,or is still in the initial stage.The research especially on traditional stone dwellings in Jiaozuo mountain area is rather scarce.Under this condition,the study on the structure and tectonic of traditional stone dwellings in Jiaozuo mountain area is to be carried out.The article is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,and it elaborates on the research background,method and significance of this article.Further,domestic and foreign research on the traditional residence are sorted out.The second part introduces the natural and cultural conditions of Jiaozuo mountain area,and the related investigations.The third part,built on the field research and from location layout,courtyard form and architectural space these three aspects,analyzes the traditional stone dwellings in Jiaozuo mountainous region.As the focus of this article,the fourth part combining with literature,research,interview and so on firstly analyzes the construction materials,load-bearing methods and beam frame structure used in local traditional stone dwellings;Secondly,it studies on the traditional methods and structural features of the ground,walls,doors,windows and roof with a conclusion of the advantage and drawback which will provide some technical support for the protection and renewal of local traditional stone dwellings.Taking the actual existing condition of these stone houses into consideration,in the fifth part,the protection content,the protection principle and the way of protection are expounded,and it also summarizes the concept of ecological architecture in the structure and tectonic of local stone dwellings which are aimed to provide some reference for the protection and inheritance of local residences and the construction of modern dwellings.The last part is the conclusion of the article,and it summarizes the research achievements and deficiencies of the article.
